Current Professional Research Associates
Previous Professional Research Associates:
Krakauer, Alan
Research Interest: Broadly interested in behavioral and evolutionary questions, particularly related to the mechanistic, developmental, and evolutionary factors that shape avian social systems.

Mentor and Home Department : Gail Patricelli Evolution and Ecology
Current Membership dates: Fall 2015 - Fall 2017 E-mail: ahkrakauer@ucdavis.edu
Moore, Kara
Research explores questions on the ecological factors that influence species' range dynamics at the local and regional scales, population-level and global conservation strategies, and mitigation and restoration methods. The work in the lab addresses a broad conceptual spectrum from ecological theory, adaptive management design, and species and habitat distribution modeling.

Price, Samantha
Interested in the patterns and processess associated with vertebrate radiations from origination through to extinction, with an emphasis on understanding the role of organismal traits and their interaction with the environment.

Spiller, David
Ecological and evolutionary processes occurring on islands in the Bahamas. Current research project are on the effects of seaweed deposition on the structure and dynamics of island food webs, and the ecological and evolutionary effects of top predators on their prey and other species in lower trophic levels.
